Coffee used to be my go to beverage. ☕️ No matter where I went, you would always find me with a to-go cup in my hand, preferably Starbucks. Then I discovered Matcha Latte and everything changed! 🍵✨ Continue reading “Iced Matcha Mocha Latte – A green magic potion”
As a child, a bowl of cereal was always my breakfast of choice. Actually, it was my choice for any meal. Back then, I had a major, major, major sweet tooth and was naturally drawn to Kid’s cereals such as Cini Minis, Frosties, you name them. Accompanied with fresh milk and a good Disney movie and I was the happiest kid on earth. Little did I know that some good old oatmeal could be just as delicious! New year, new resolutions, new body?
I promised myself that 2018 would be the year where I will get my dream body! Having similar thoughts? I know that it all comes down to the right nutrition. BUT a girl can’t really live without the occasional piece of pizza, can she? I thought so! That’s why I did some experimenting in my kitchen and now I’m proud to present you the healthiest but still outmost delicious pizza recipe out there! Don’t believe me? Well, you better get cooking, good lookin’! Continue reading “The only healthy pizza you want to make in 2018”
Yesterday I got really down on myself. I had filmed a video for a kickstarter campaign for the eco-friendly yoga and fitness leggings collection I had designed (more on that on the blog soon). When looking at the footage, I did not recognize myself. I felt bulky, swollen and somehow manly. This was not at all the body I was striving for.
Since 2018 started, I made the commitment to get my nutrition back on track. This was much needed after a very indulgent December. This is not really easy for me as I have a huge sweet tooth. But I also realized that it is not healthy if sugar has this kind of power over me!
Guys, I can’t believe Valentine’s Day is just two days away! 😱 I already covered dinner and dessert but why not also start the day of love with a healthy yet sweet breakfast?
I don’t know about you but I’m already in the love mood 💗💗💗! Once February starts, I get all excited about Valentine’s Day! Since this year is all about fitness and health for me, I was looking for ways to make my Valentine’s Day dinner as clean and healthy as possible while still feeling like I’m treating myself and my boyfriend!
Hello February! 💖
The month of love is here! With Valentine’s Day next week, I thought about how I can treat my boyfriend without all the refined sugar and unneccessary carbs store bought treats are loaded with. As he has a serious sweeth tooth, I’m slowly trying to stir him away from his sugar addiction 😉.
You know I’m slightly obsessed when it comes to healthy eating and exercising. There is no new food trend, superfood or workout I haven’t tried! But I found that at the end of the day it all comes down to eating clean and nutritious food. Easier said than done!
Because the food industry, too, has realized that people are on a wellness trip now and they are coming out with all kinds of “healthy alternatives”. Today when you enter a grocery store, many packages are labeled superfood, sugar-free, no added preservatives, organic and so on. But don’t be fooled! These labels promise a lot but if you take a closer look, they are mostly false friends!
If you are like me and you can’t stay away from pasta, then this post is for you! I’m a huge pasta lover. Always have been and always will be. You can imagine my frustration when I found out that pasta was a no-no when I wanted to reach my health and fitness goals. To be honest, I did not adjust to it right away! Especially during the colder months, I just had to had a comforting bowl of pasta with lots of cheese every week. 🙈
