When thinking about what I wanted to do this year for Valentine’s Day, I had no clue at all. I kind of felt like I wanted to go to a fancy restaurant. But then it felt like spending lots of money while being served overpriced food with thousand of other “lovebirds” does not really give this day nor my boyfriend credit.
The decision was taken out of my hands when I heard that I had a shoot this day. So, bye, bye, Valentine’s Day dinner plans. On the other hand, there is totally nothing wrong with enjoying a great home cooked meal, a glass of champagne in hand (check out this post if you are with me), some candles lit and a GREAT dessert…you know what I mean 😏. What could scream more love than that?!
But you could spend Valentine’s Day totally different as well. Why not call your bestie and meet up for a fitness date! Showing your body some love while catching up on the latest in your friend’s life? Sign me up for that!
Long gone are the days where Valentine’s Day was all about couples. With hashtags like #galentinesday the day becomes more about love in general including the love you have for your parents, friends, pets etc. How about a #petinesday? 🐶😉
No matter what your plans are this year, you still want to dress the part! But fear not! As always I got you covered on that one. While browsing the internet lately, I found the cutest outfits for any type of date. Whether it be sporty, fancy or casual at home.
But beware! I’m a sucker for fancy designer clothes. So you may find the one or other Valentine piece in there. I mean what better way to spend all this hard-earned money than on our all time favorite designer?!
